Charts and Maps
For my chart I decided to look up the percentage of men enrolled at GMU vs. the women.
Some sites had varying information on the subject, but the average is 44/56:
I found the time we spent in class going over how to make a chart using Google’s app was time enough for me. Once I knew which set of data I wanted to use to make my first Google chart, I was able to create it within a few minutes. Maybe next time I’ll choose a more complex set of data, but it still wouldn’t be a difficult task.
I had an immensely troublesome time making a map with Google Maps. I use it all the time to get directions, but making my own map was more difficult. The tutorial kept giving me error messages and I had a hard time making the line along the roads tool to behave.
For my map I just decided to map out the roadtrip I took by myself in 2010:
